"[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [inspirit into His likeness even] to His death, [inthe home]" Philippians 3:10 (Amp)
How many of us can honestly say that we are determined to get to know Christ more intimately? I can. In spite of everything He allows me to go through, I want to know Him that much more deeply.
When things/circumstances or "life" starts happening, my first thought is, "What did I do wrong? Why am I going through this?" It is at that point that I have two choices - run away or run to.
Which do you choose? If you choose to run to, that is when you will "come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection".
